Dave Conner

Chief Financial Officer
Congratulations to our CFO, Dave Conner, as recipient of the Chamber of Commerce’s 2011 Volunteer of the Year Award for his outstanding volunteer service to The Chamber.

According to the Chamber’s press release, “Among Chamber members, business professionals, and the local manufacturing community, Dave is recognized as being an instrumental member of the team who successfully launched The Chamber’s Tri-State Manufacturers’ Alliance, or TSMA. In 2009, TSMA began as a roundtable of manufacturers sharing best practices.  Two years later, thanks to the countless volunteer hours from Dave Conner and many others, TSMA has grown into a robust manufacturing organization that boasts over 100 member companies steered by a dynamic Executive Committee.  Dave served as the inaugural Chair of TSMA, and his leadership and hard work firmly cemented TSMA as a staple in our region.  After serving as Chair, Dave continues to serve on the TSMA Executive Committee and is currently responsible for overseeing all of TSMA’s programming efforts.  He works tirelessly to ensure that the mission of TSMA, which strives to create a vibrant and attractive manufacturing environment through quarterly events, plant tours, peer groups and best practices, is always upheld.

Outside of his involvement with The Chamber, Dave is actively involved with St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.  He assists with their Adult Small Groups and Youth Ministry programs and commission.  He is particularly interested in helping raise funds for annual mission trips to Mexico, New York City, New Orleans and Nashville.  Dave has also spent years heavily involved as a volunteer coach for his children’s basketball teams and assisting with their baseball and soccer teams.  He and his wife, Lisa, have three children and recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.  Dave has stated time and time again that he firmly believes in the value and impact of serving one’s community, which is evident in his actions.”
